Summary

This specialist role supports the review and oversight of delegated underwriting arrangements across Aviva’s Syndicate business. It works with underwriting, compliance and operational teams in a hybrid arrangement, with colleagues spending at least 50% of their time in the office.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve delegated authority arrangements
• Conduct due diligence and onboard delegated partners
• Review binding authority agreements and documentation
• Maintain accurate records in Lloyd's and internal systems
• Monitor arrangement performance, audits and governance actions
• Advise underwriting teams on delegated authority requirements
• Support governance forums and management reporting
