Summary

Senior staff+ software engineer on anthopic’s kubernetes platform team, operating and extending kubernetes control plane and scheduler for large accelerator fleets. You will scale core services like the scheduler, apiserver, etcd, and service discovery, and build controllers/operators/crds while partnering with research and ml infrastructure teams. Role follows a hybrid policy with staff in offices at least 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Own and extend the kubernetes scheduler
• Implement custom scheduling plugins and policies
• Scale the kubernetes control plane components
• Design and operate core cluster services
• Build and maintain custom controllers operators crds
• Debug complex issues across the stack
• Lead incident response and run postmortems
