Summary

Trainline is hiring a senior platform engineer for its infrastructure engineering and tooling team (atlas). You will deliver and evolve infrastructure using terraform on aws, build automation tooling with node.Js or python, and validate and deploy changes via ci/cd pipelines. The role is hybrid, requiring office work at least 60% of the time over a 12-week period.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex improvements to engineering platforms
• Implement and evolve infrastructure changes with terraform
• Apply least-privilege and secure-by-default principles
• Build automation scripts and tooling with node.js or python
• Support and review mid-level engineers' work
• Test, validate, and deploy infrastructure changes via ci/cd
• Identify risks, blockers, and quality concerns early
