Summary

As Senior Director, Independent Sponsors, you will originate, structure and execute debt facilities for independent sponsor transactions through ThinCats, Shawbrook's specialist SME lending brand. You will own sponsor relationships, lead complex deal teams and support the team's origination, profitability and return on equity targets.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with independent sponsors and advisers
• Generate and qualify new sponsor-led opportunities
• Structure, negotiate and execute complex debt facilities
• Analyse target businesses and financial models
• Write or supervise credit papers and recommendations
• Lead sponsor relationships through diligence and completion
• Lead deal teams and support junior colleagues
