Summary

The payment operations lead will own payment performance, routing, processor relationships, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, and payment economics across global markets. This is a quantitative operational leadership role based in London, working in person five days a week with the founding team and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build automated payment monitoring and exception workflows
• Write processor onboarding and incident playbooks
• Onboard processors, banking partners, and local acquirers
• Analyse approval rates across markets and merchants
• Build routing and decline recovery logic
• Manage chargebacks, fraud thresholds, and disputes
• Reconcile settlements, reserves, payouts, and funding
