Summary

The managing director will lead Citi Commercial Bank’s Digital Technology & Communications business across the UK, Europe, and MEA. The role manages multiple teams and owns the regional P&L, including business planning, budgeting, and credit portfolio oversight. It requires at least 15 years of commercial or corporate banking experience and 10 years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Set the regional DT&C commercial growth agenda
• Lead relationship managers and product specialists
• Own regional DT&C P&L and capital allocation
• Originate structured lending and multi-product transactions
• Oversee credit portfolio standards and complex decisions
• Manage hiring, performance, compensation, and succession planning
• Enforce KYC, AML, sanctions, and regulatory controls
