Summary

Lead technical ownership of complex financial products and systems at BJAK, a Southeast Asian insurance and financial services platform. This is a hybrid UK role requiring at least three days per week in a local office, with hands-on coding, architecture, production support and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design for major engineering initiatives
• Design scalable systems across infrastructure and databases
• Write, review and debug production code
• Make architecture decisions and technical trade-offs
• Review technical designs and provide actionable feedback
• Mentor engineers and strengthen technical capability
• Monitor production systems and resolve root causes
