BJAK is hiring a lead engineer to own the technical design, implementation, and reliability of complex AI-native email and financial products. This is a hands-on hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in a local office, with flexibility to work remotely on remaining days.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and execution of major initiatives
• Design scalable systems across backend, frontend, and infrastructure
• Write, review, and debug production code
• Make architecture decisions and technical trade-offs
• Review designs and provide actionable engineering feedback
• Mentor engineers and strengthen technical capabilities
• Monitor production systems and resolve incidents
