Summary

This lab operations manager will run the day-to-day physical operations of Substrate's London laboratory. The role owns inventory, purchasing, goods-in, cold chain, equipment records, safety processes and the implementation of barcode-based tracking and provenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage goods-in, storage and delivery records
• Maintain consumable inventory and reorder points
• Raise purchase orders and compare supplier quotes
• Track equipment servicing and calibration records
• Operate cold storage and hazardous waste processes
• Define barcode and labelling workflows
• Capture lot data for experiment provenance
