Summary

This London-based Executive Director will build and lead Goldman Sachs’ pan-European commercial real estate underwriting and portfolio management team. The role oversees the end-to-end credit lifecycle for large-ticket lending opportunities across Europe, with expansion into key Asian markets.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and develop cre underwriters and portfolio managers
• Set pan-european underwriting policies and credit standards
• Lead underwriting of large-ticket commercial real estate loans
• Present credit memoranda to regional and global committees
• Negotiate loan, security, and intercreditor documentation
• Oversee construction drawdowns and ongoing loan surveillance
• Manage watchlist assets, waivers, and restructurings
