Summary

The external reporting controls manager will assess and improve financial and non-financial reporting controls, including ESG metrics, across Aviva’s global finance function. This mid-level role is hybrid, with work based in Norwich, Bristol, or York, and involves control testing, remediation, and external audit support.

Responsibilities

• Lead process walkthroughs for reporting controls
• Assess control design and operating effectiveness
• Test automated controls, ITGCs, and ITACs
• Report control conclusions to senior managers
• Track remediation of identified control issues
• Support external auditors with assurance evidence
• Produce reports for board and audit committees
