The engineering manager leads and develops engineering teams within Prolific’s cross-functional product development group. This hands-on technical leadership role covers hiring, team delivery, technical decision-making, and engineering practices, with remote working.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach engineering teams toward customer value
• Hire, onboard, and develop engineers through performance management
• Plan predictable work and remove delivery blockers
• Coordinate dependencies and clarify team communication
• Partner with product managers to define product scope
• Guide technical design and implementation with the team
• Manage technical debt, toil, and existing system support
