This senior engineering manager owns the people and process side of Longshot Systems' engineering organisation of roughly 30–50 people. The role covers hiring, reviews, progression, engineering operations and developer experience, and is hybrid with Thursdays in the London office.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering hiring and interview processes
• Run review cycles and calibrate progression across teams
• Manage engineers' development and assessment
• Monitor delivery metrics and maintenance-to-development balance
• Own cloud spend, SaaS licensing, and security processes
• Improve engineering standards and developer experience
• Coordinate company-wide technical staff onboarding
