Summary

The data science lead will manage and develop Wise’s verification data scientists in the KYC Global and Onboarding team, based in London with a hybrid working model. The role owns the data science roadmap and provides technical direction for machine learning systems supporting KYC and document verification.

Responsibilities

• Own the data science roadmap and prioritise projects
• Plan data science projects with cross-functional teams
• Manage large image and tabular KYC datasets
• Iterate on deep learning image models
• Measure and optimise machine learning model performance
• Maintain and develop the Python codebase
• Coach data scientists and support hiring
