Summary

The Controls Quality and Methodology Lead maintains and improves control testing methodologies and quality assurance across Legal & General’s Retail business. This lead-level role strengthens the consistency and credibility of control effectiveness reviews; flexible working options may be discussed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain control effectiveness methodologies and guidance
• Review completed testing and control effectiveness assessments
• Establish quality standards and calibration processes
• Improve testing approaches, reperformance techniques, and validation methods
• Identify opportunities to improve review quality and efficiency
• Coach colleagues conducting control effectiveness reviews
• Support governance, reporting, and escalation of customer outcome changes
