Summary

This lead role maintains and improves control effectiveness methodologies, testing standards, and quality assurance across Legal & General’s Retail business. It focuses on reviewing control assessments, strengthening testing consistency, and supporting governance and escalation. Flexible working options, including part-time and job shares, may be discussed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve control effectiveness methodologies and guidance
• Review completed testing and control effectiveness assessments
• Establish quality standards and calibration processes across Retail
• Design testing approaches, reperformance techniques, and validation methods
• Identify improvements to review quality and efficiency
• Coach colleagues conducting control effectiveness reviews
• Support governance, reporting, and escalation for customer-impacting changes
