Summary

This is an actuarial reporting role within Legal & General’s institutional retirement insurance business, focused on asset-liability management, market exposures, and financial insight. The role is based in Cardiff with travel to London a few times a month and suits a nearly or newly qualified actuary.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily and ad hoc ALM responses
• Own weekly asset and liability information
• Review interest rate and inflation exposures
• Explain P&L movements and unusual results
• Assess ALM impacts of proposed transactions
• Strengthen reporting controls and governance
• Develop automated technology-enabled reporting solutions
